Cutting-Edge Features to Support Your Ride

Cutting-Edge Features to Support Your Ride

Laser-cut leg hems for zero bulk

Your calves will be forever grateful, inspired by alpine skiing. Laser-cut hems in ventilated power mesh mean no bulk, no rub, less sweat. Happy calves, happy ride.

Seams and fabric made to move, made to last

Seams break & breeches sag, we’ve all been there. Not here. Two-needle seams inside and out, triple where it counts, in French double-woven fabric built to endure with style.

Pockets cut for the ride

Life’s full of compromises. Pockets shouldn’t be one. Room for what matters, cut to stay clear of your ride. Your phone? Locked steady on the thigh. Fake back pockets for comfort.

No compromises for the male rider

Cut for performance and comfort

For me as a designer, performance is a designed hold. Tighter around calves and knees, with a sculpted rear that stays put. Comfort is legs cut to flex with every move in the saddle, and room in front so nothing feels squeezed. All made possible by smart seam placement and fabric flowing where it matters.

The search for true riders’ fabric

We drove suppliers mad searching for a fabric with lasting strength, stretch, comfort and style. We found it in a French double-woven 4-way stretch. Supportive, with a structured look outside and smooth inside. At the hems, an Italian power mesh ready for a clean laser-cut finish.

Clean lines with an edge

Sweet, sour or salty? Taste is personal, right. With APEX as our first breeches, we wanted them to embody our design DNA: Clean, Confident, Tailored. Pure lines in the main cut, a bit of edge in the pockets and rear flaps, braver colors than tradition, finished with tone-on-tone details and signature grip prints. More salty than sweet.

Responsible choices made

Production and Shipment

Designed in Sweden, manufactured in Portugal to stay close to our riders. Distribution from our central warehouse in Sweden keeps deliveries efficient. Each pair is packaged in paper bags and shipped in outer bags containing 80% recycled polyethylene, both choices made with least CO2 impact in mind.

Material considerations

Main fabric produced in France. Double Face Woven, carefully chosen over other options such as bonded fabrics. PFC-free water repellent finish. Secondary fabric chosen for performance over lesser alternatives that might have had recycled fibres. All details use OEKO-TEX® certified materials.

Designed for the long run

We design for the long run, far from fast fashion. Premium fabrics and details are chosen for quality and function, even if that limits recycled options, such as the leg hem fabric used for these breeches. Our designs stand the test of time, evolving with feedback rather than fleeting trends. Longevity is sustainability in practice.

Key areas to track moving forward

• Supplier dialogue to blend recycled fibres in main fabric
• Encourage fabric suppliers to blend in recycled stretch fibres

Made in Portugal

More than 30 years of experience

Our Portuguese partner is situated in the textile center of Barcelos, northern Portugal. They have specialized in technical textiles for 30 years. Being a niche manufacturer, they work only with selected high-end brands including Nine & Above — making the best use of their skill sets.

Our reasoning for working together.

Making the perfect male riding breeches is harder than one might think, even harder with our requirements. We engaged with four other manufacturers before finding our Portuguese friends. The ability to collaborate with a “no shortcuts” attitude has been key.
